Not every breakdown, no. It catches the ones that give warning: a weak capacitor, a corroded contactor, a drain starting to clog, a coil losing airflow. It will not stop a lightning strike or a compressor that fails out of nowhere. Anyone who promises you a tune-up means no breakdowns is selling you something.

I got to see everything before it was replaced in my attic. They were very thorough in explaining to me what needed to be done and why my house wasn’t holding cool air.
