FAQS ABOUT HVAC SERVICES
IN TAMPA, FL

Do I need association approval to replace my AC?

In a lot of Tampa condos and HOA neighborhoods, yes. Many associations set rules for where the outdoor unit can sit, how it is mounted on a roof or balcony, which hours crews can work, and what insurance the contractor has to carry. Check your documents or call the manager before install day. We can send the association the equipment specs and our insurance certificate so the approval does not hold anything up.

Will a new system fit where the old one is?

Usually, but not always without some work. Newer, more efficient equipment is often larger than what it replaces, especially the indoor coil, and older Tampa homes and condos tend to have tight closets and small attic openings. We measure the space during the estimate, so any carpentry, platform or duct changes are priced from the start.

Are there rebates for installing a high efficiency system?

Sometimes. Utility rebates, manufacturer promotions and federal tax credits come and go, and the rules on which equipment qualifies change from year to year. It is worth asking before you choose, because a rebate can close some of the price gap between a standard system and a more efficient one. We tell you what currently applies to the equipment you are looking at, rather than promising savings that may not be there.

Should my new outdoor unit be raised if I am in a flood zone?

If your home sits in a low part of South Tampa, Davis Islands or anywhere near the bay that has taken water before, it is worth considering. Floodwater that reaches the outdoor unit usually ruins it, and saltwater surge does it quickly. Raising the unit on a stand or a taller pad costs far less than replacing it after a storm, and local floodplain rules can require it in some cases. We can price it both ways.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was a great company that came out and got me a new AC, air handler, and duct branches. I got to see everything before it was replaced in my attic. They were very thorough in explaining to me what needed to be done and why my house wasn’t holding cool air. I opened up a can of worms and luckily they know what they are doing. I had a solution in minutes. It’s a pricey procedure but good air quality and a efficient electric bill is very important. Give ‘em a call!
Edit: They are a great company and even did a follow up visit to make sure everything was good to go. Thank you!
