FAQS ABOUT PLUMBING SERVICES
IN TAMPA, FL

Where is my sewer cleanout, and why does it matter?

A cleanout is a capped pipe that gives direct access to your main drain line, usually outside near the house or closer to the street, and sometimes inside on older homes. When the main line backs up, it is the quickest way to clear it without pulling a toilet. In older Tampa homes it can be buried, painted over or missing. It is worth knowing where yours is, and adding one is a good idea if your home does not have one.

Why is my hot water pressure low when the cold is fine?

If only the hot side is weak, the problem is somewhere on the hot water path. Sediment and scale built up in the water heater, a partly closed or failing valve on the heater, or galvanized pipe on the hot side rusting shut are the common causes. If it is only one faucet, a clogged cartridge or aerator is more likely. We check the heater and the lines to find where the flow is being choked off.

Why does my water heater make popping or rumbling noises?

That is usually sediment. Minerals from hard water settle at the bottom of the tank, and when the burner or element heats the water trapped under that layer, it pops and rumbles. Sediment makes the heater work harder and can shorten its life. Flushing the tank can help if it is caught early. On an older heater with heavy buildup, it is a sign the tank may be near the end.

Can new fixtures lower my water bill?

They can, especially in older homes. Toilets from before the 1990s can use three to five gallons a flush, compared with about 1.28 for a WaterSense model. Low-flow shower heads and faucet aerators also cut use without making a big difference you will feel. Fixing running toilets and dripping faucets matters too. We can tell you which fixtures in your home would make the biggest difference.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was a great company that came out and got me a new AC, air handler, and duct branches. I got to see everything before it was replaced in my attic. They were very thorough in explaining to me what needed to be done and why my house wasn’t holding cool air. I opened up a can of worms and luckily they know what they are doing. I had a solution in minutes. It’s a pricey procedure but good air quality and a efficient electric bill is very important. Give ‘em a call!
Edit: They are a great company and even did a follow up visit to make sure everything was good to go. Thank you!
