FAQS ABOUT HVAC SERVICES
IN DADE CITY, FL

Should I replace a failed compressor or the whole system?

If the system is fairly new and still under warranty, replacing the compressor can make sense. On an older system, a new compressor is a major repair going into equipment that is near the end anyway, and the other parts will keep wearing out. We price both options so you can see the real difference before deciding.

Is a used or rebuilt air conditioner a good idea?

Usually not. Used equipment comes with an unknown history, little or no warranty, and sometimes an older refrigerant that is expensive to service. The savings up front can disappear with the first repair. If budget is the concern, we would rather talk through a basic new system or financing than install a unit nobody can vouch for.

What should a replacement price include?

A complete quote should cover the outdoor unit, the matching indoor coil or air handler, the refrigerant lines or a cleaning of the old ones, the pad, the electrical disconnect, the drain, the thermostat, the permit and hauling away the old equipment. If a quote leaves those out, they tend to show up later as extras. Ours spells out each one.

Should the return or filter location change with a new system?

Sometimes. Many older homes have one small return grille that cannot move enough air for a modern system, which makes it loud and less efficient. A replacement is the right time to enlarge the return or add a second one. It is a modest cost that helps the new system run quieter and last longer.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was a great company that came out and got me a new AC, air handler, and duct branches. I got to see everything before it was replaced in my attic. They were very thorough in explaining to me what needed to be done and why my house wasn’t holding cool air. I opened up a can of worms and luckily they know what they are doing. I had a solution in minutes. It’s a pricey procedure but good air quality and a efficient electric bill is very important. Give ‘em a call!
Edit: They are a great company and even did a follow up visit to make sure everything was good to go. Thank you!
