Should my manufactured home have a packaged unit or a split system?

It depends on the home and what is there now. A packaged unit keeps everything in one cabinet outside and connects to the belly duct, which makes for a simpler swap. A split system puts the air handler inside and can be more efficient and quieter outdoors, but it needs room inside and a new line set. We look at the space, the ducts and the budget, then tell you which one makes sense.

Can I finance a new system?

Yes. We offer financing so a replacement does not have to come out of savings all at once, and the details are on our financing page. Ask about it when we give you the quote, and we will lay out the monthly cost next to paying up front, so you can decide what works for your budget.

What warranty comes with a new system?

Most major manufacturers cover parts for around ten years, but many require the equipment to be registered within a set window after installation, or the coverage drops. Labor is a separate warranty from the installer. Get both in writing, and make sure the registration actually gets done. We can register it for you and hand you the paperwork, so the coverage is there if you ever need it.

What happens to my old unit?

It leaves with us. The refrigerant has to be recovered with proper equipment before the old system is taken apart, which federal rules require, and the metal gets recycled. You should not have to deal with a dead condenser sitting in the side yard. If you want to keep anything, like a stand or a thermostat, just tell us before we start.

I got to see everything before it was replaced in my attic. They were very thorough in explaining to me what needed to be done and why my house wasn’t holding cool air. I opened up a can of worms and luckily they know what they are doing. I had a solution in minutes. It’s a pricey procedure but good air quality and a efficient electric bill is very important.
